I did a short externship here as a dental student and my experience was amazing. Dr. Spitz and the team are compassionate and prioritize patient comfort and clinical outcomes above all else. Based on my previous experiences, I can say that the back office sterilization station and laboratory setup are some of the best I have ever seen. All of the equipment used in the office is modern and top of the line which both helps the team have an efficient work flow and ensures high quality of care for patients. I will 100% be recommending Smileboston to anyone in the market for high quality compassionate dental work. Going into this program, I have heard of some upperclassmen having bad experiences with different offices they were assigned to. They either overworked the students in order to get the most out of their unpaid labor or did the polar opposite and told the students to stand in the corner for 8 hours. For these reasons I was a little nervous on the first day especially considering this is a high end specialty office. After being here for 8 weeks, I am very happy to say that my concerns never materialized as problems. The team went out of their way to show me around and teach me various things regarding operations and dentistry. I started out by shadowing some procedures and helping out with sterilization. As time went on I was given more responsibilities and in a few weeks I felt like I was fully integrated into the team. Eventually, I had the opportunity to assist Dr. Spitz with a handful of prosthodontic procedures and Dr. Roque with some endodontic procedures. The learning environment was very comfortable as the team made sure to not overwhelm me with too many tasks too quickly but kept increasing expectations and responsibilities at a rate which kept me engaged. Overall I was very happy with the pace of progression and each day I left the office feeling fulfilled and like I learned something new.

Dr. Spitz and his team are absolutely amazing! I have never experienced this level of care at any dental office before. They are incredibly kind, genuinely attentive, and always professional. They take the time to explain everything ahead of time, create a care plan that truly fits your needs, and walk you through each step along the way. Their office is equipped with the latest high-tech, high-quality devices, which makes every treatment more precise, comfortable, and efficient. I actually look forward to my visits, something I never thought I’d say about going to the dentist! He and his team are the best!!

I recently had the pleasure of having Shawn for my cleaning. This was my first time with her, and I was incredibly impressed. She was very thorough and took the time to explain everything she was doing and any issues she noticed with my teeth. Not only did she do a fantastic job on my cleaning, but her explanations were clear and helpful. It was a great experience.

It had been a few years since my last check-up, so I was pretty nervous about starting with a new practice. I’d heard really good things about Dr. Spitz and Smile/Boston. I was immediately impressed with the warmth and professionalism of everyone from the front desk all the way to Dr. Spitz. The office is modern and they are using technology I’d not seen before. It was an unexpectedly calm experience and I’m confident that the care plan is going to keep my teeth healthy.
