I cannot say enough good things about Heart of Vinings Dentistry. I’ve done my wisdom teeth, a crown, and Invisalign with them, and every single experience has been amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. My smile is a huge part of my brand and my confidence, so trusting the right team was everything to me. I’m so thankful I found them. If you’re looking for a dental office that combines professionalism with genuine care, this is it. Highly recommend.

Thursday, May 28, 2026 I had my first appointment with Heart of Vinings on Monday, May 11, 2026. The staff was friendly and professional, and I was quite impressed with the overall environment and the advanced technology they use. I’m scheduled to go back on Friday, May 29, 2026, for additional services, and I also booked an appointment for my son. I'm really happy so far; hopefully, I won't have to look for another dentist since our previous one of over 8 years is no longer in network with our insurance. I have to circle back with my dentist name since I forgot which was super nice.

I chose this dental office based on their great Google reviews, but it ended up being the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. After not seeing a dentist for several years. I was told I needed a lot of work. I proceeded with some of the recommendations, but held off on fillings as they claimed I had a very high amount. They claimed my gums were getting worse and worse with each visit. The hygienist seemed annoyed and to treat me and frankly very rude - especially after denying a $200 bacteria analysis. Eventually they referred me to a periodontist for “advanced periodontal disease.” The way they spoke to me about it was so harsh that I left crying. Although they claim in their response the referral was based on multiple factors, the referral paperwork literally states “advanced perio disease.” The periodontist they referred me to confirmed I did NOT have advanced periodontal disease. They did not find the same gum issues HOV claimed to find. I later went to another dental office and again my concerns were confirmed. They did not find the same gum issues HOV claimed to find - including # of cavities and gum issues. They also added products to my bill without discussing beforehand, including a $200 saliva bacteria test, $80 antibacterial lozenges, and $50 mouthwash etc. None covered by insurance. I never said these products are useless as they claim in their response— only that I was never informed about them until I asked for an itemized receipt. Overall, I would not recommend this office. In my opinion, they treat patients like dollar signs rather than people. They mentioned state-of-the-art technology for diagnosing dental issues in their response. - I guess they need to pay for their fancy machines somehow by finding more treatments than actually needed lol

I had a fantastic first experience here! I recently moved to the Vinings area and needed a new dentist (my previous dentist was also not great). The staff was incredibly friendly and Dr. Shariati and Searra were especially lovely. My exam was very thorough, and everything was explained to me very clearly. I also felt that I was not being judged based on all the previous work done on my teeth. It felt like they truly cared about helping me keep my teeth healthy and move toward a smile I can be proud to show off. I’m grateful to the HOV team!
