4 months agoThe patient care at Atlas is excellent. The team didn’t bat an eye at my long lapse in dental care and have made each visit easy and comfortable. I recently had a filling appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how painless and quick the procedure was. Even the recovery was a breeze (2hrs, no swelling or pain). Dr. Wen and the hygienists take the time to explain everything in detail, answer questions, and regularly check in during the appointment to ensure patient comfort. I’m really happy with the service and treatment plans they’ve provided so far. Plus everyone is super nice and professional. I highly recommend the Atlas team to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

a month agoThe receptionists are angels, the office is immaculate/stylish/incredibly well decorated, the hygienist was lovely, and Dr. Wen was incredible-meticulous, conscientious, always attuned to the patient’s condition the entire time he worked. They were incredibly accommodating and upfront about payment plans, clearly taking great care to work with patients to ensure that their dental work doesn’t ensure financial ruin! They’re the best, y’all! P. S. They are located right next door to an authentic Italian bakery with some of the best bread I’ve ever had-bar none-and incredible cold brew iced coffee.

3 months agoI just want to say thank you to everyone involved at Atlas! The experience this office provides is top tier. The ladies in the front were hands down amazing. From the communication of insurance coverage to consideration of timing my appointments knowing I had a new baby, truly made it a seamless transition. Also, a HUUGE shoutout to the time and effort that the lab put into to matching the color of my crown to my natural teeth, my husband couldn’t even tell which one it was 🤭. The hygienists I’ve had the pleasure of having really took their time to make the experience SO impactful in such a great way. I knew I had a lot of work I was looking at beginning when I scheduled my initial cleaning, however, every nerve has been put to ease(even the new ones that arise during the appointments). Each dentist here truly took the time to educate me, walk me through each step all while putting my concerns at ease and making the process dare I say….enjoyable. Dentist appointments can be such a vulnerable time for anyone, (me included) so the extra mile EVERYONE in the office puts in really should be acknowledged. You guys really have a killer team. I picked Atlas based off of their reviews and very grateful I did… so thought I should contribute if you’re looking too 🤍.

2 months agoAs someone who is terrified of going to the dentist-Atlas has given me hope and even made my phobia much much smaller. That may sound a little much, but if you are scared of the dentist, you know what it’s like. I have had such an amazing experience at Atlas- with Dr Wen and all other staff who helped me including the front office. I went in because I had a possible abscess around a tooth that had root canal I had done 10+ years ago, and I also just needed to establish new care and get a cleaning/exam. I let them know I was scared in general of the dentist on my intake, and I’m sure they made note of it because everyone has been nothing but gentle, kind, informative, and caring. No upselling, no bs. I have to pay out of pocket, and they offer a membership which has made it so I was able to see them out of pocket. (They do take many insurances though!) I live in N Portland, but will continue to drive down to Lents to receive such excellent care. Thank you Dr Wen and everyone else- I meant to get names and will amend this review when I get them- but for now- Courtney who did my cleaning and Kelsey at the front desk are also amazing.) I’m so thankful for the staff and support I have received, this place is awesome and I recommend to anyone- especially those of us who are scared of going to the dentist.

3 months agoI have had a lot of dental work in my life, and I didn't realize then but I metabolize topical anesthetic like crazy and felt a lot of my previous procedures...so I avoid the dentist until it's absolutely necessary. Which is why I just kind of dealt with having a piece of my tooth fall out for over a month. But I finally bit the bullet, found a new dentist and made the appointment. At intake they prompted me to advocate for my anesthesia situation right off the bat, and I explained that only in Los Algadones, Mexico did I ever have the appropriate level of anesthesia but also just had an overall amazing experience at a dentist. Dr. Hieu said "Bet, let's go for round 2." And delivered. He saved my tooth, did so painlessly and everyone I encountered at their office was incredibly kind to me. The staff shows genuine compassion and care for their patients and it's clear that comfort is a huge priority for them. Even the office is updated with new tech that makes the experience just that much more enjoyable. I got to watch the Great British Bake Show while getting my teeth cleaned and I've never felt so relaxed at an office. It may, however, have influenced my decision NOT to get the fluoride at the end.
