I have been attending the Gentle Dentist office for 7 years. I loved it. However, my last appointment led me to leave the office. About 2 years ago, I was told by one of the dentists I had fillings on the left and right that needed filled. I delayed scheduling for personal reasons and at my next cleaning explained I was aware of the fillings and would schedule today. The dentist at this visit was different from the last, looked at my teeth and explained I only needed the left side filled, that the right was fine! I said great, good thing I waited!. I got the fillings done and attending my next 6 month cleaning in early 2025. That dentist stated that my right side was perfectly fine, and was no longer a spot that needed to be monitored. I thought great! Get to my fall cleaning for this year and it is the dentist from the 1.5 years ago who said I needed all the fillings originally. The assistant explains that this dentist wants an x ray of the right side to which I say " At my last cleaning they said this was no longer a spot that needed monitoring." She replied that the x ray will be free of charge to me since the dentist really wants it done. I agree (reluctantly). Dentist says I need 3 fillings on the right. I find this shocking since I had been cleared by 2 other dentists in the same office. Then I get to check out. Where they inform me they are dropping delta dental as in network. I asked why. She told me all the offices in the area have, that they are one of the last to do so, and that I would be challenged to find a place around here that takes delta in network still. I found this shocking as Delta is one of the most common dental insurances and some of the major Columbus area employers use Delta. I left the office, switched dentists immediately.

I have been coming to The Gentle Dentist for many years. In today for a cleaning and to patch up a chipped tooth. Fantastic work on both! My Doctor and Hygienist were friendly, personable, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Another great example of why me and my family have been patients for so long. Keep up the great work!

The kindest people I’ve met are at this dental office! I have various medical issues, including wearing oxygen 24/7 & mobility limitations, yet everyone at The Gentle Dentist was so accommodating and nice about my needs. I hadn’t seen a dentist in almost 8 years and had a lot of fear going into my first appointment with them. They were very thorough with explaining what I needed done for my dental health and didn’t judge the state of my teeth/gums, all while reassuring me that they’d help me and take care of everything. Thanks to them I now feel so much better about going to the dentist and I’m on track to a healthier smile. ❤️

My visits at The Gentle Dentist are always great. Dr Baker has always been so kind to me. Everyone there is so kind. I have been going there for many years. It's almost like visiting family. They always make sure I'm comfortable. I recommend your office to everyone looking for a dentist.

I LOVE The Gentle Dentist because they are exactly as they say they are! Gentle, caring and kind! I have sensitive teeth from clenching and grinding my teeth but The Gentle Dentist has been the only ones that have been careful and gentle around my sensitive areas. They have also helped with ways to make the areas less sensitive and I have noticed a significant improvement with sensitivity. I highly recommend them!!
