I had such a great experience at Dr Libby’s today. Monique and I texted a few weeks before discussing my anxiety around X-rays and the sensor causing me to have a gagging reaction. This has prevented me from getting care for years. I walked in today and was greeted my Monique and the cute sign they made me. She recalled our conversation and even gave me tips on how to relax and take my mind off of the X-rays. Her assistant took the X-rays and it went so smoothly! I was relieved! Dr. Young came in and pulled up the photos/X-rays and explained everything going on. She reassured me and let me know that they could get me back to a good place with my dental routine. She even gave me options for Invisalign and dental implant upgrades. Linda came in and did measurements of my gums. Finally, Monique gave me a very detailed quote/treatment plan. Everyone did such a great job explaining what they were doing, were gentle, and extremely friendly. I immediately felt so comfortable with this team. I can’t wait to come back for my cleaning!

Libby Dental is probably at the top of the list of best dental practices we’ve ever worked with. The clinic is very modern, from their dental equipments to their front office amenities. From Dr. Libby, to the hygienists and dental assistants, to the ladies in the front desk, they are all excellent at what they do! Our family was in a situation where we needed some dental work done as soon as possible. All the staff at Libby Dental went out of their way to help us, and they delivered an excellent work in a timely fashion. Dr. Libby is a very good listener. He’s very competent, friendly, understanding, and flexible. We highly recommend him and this dental practice.

I had my first visit to Libby Dental last week, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. I had been dealing with progressively worsening tooth pain since Sunday night and scheduled what I thought was an appointment for Thursday afternoon through a third-party site. When I arrived, the team let me know the appointment hadn’t actually gone through—but instead of turning me away, they went above and beyond to fit me in. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel genuinely cared for, even while I was clearly in pain. Megan and Monique at the front desk were absolutely exceptional. Not only were they incredibly kind and reassuring, but they also helped secure me an earlier appointment with a periodontist, which was a huge relief and honestly a saving grace. Dr. Libby was just as impressive—friendly, compassionate, and thorough. He made sure to take every precaution to properly assess the situation and help manage my pain. Even as I was leaving, Megan and Monique were still working on my behalf—trying to connect with my insurance, providing samples of safe toothpaste, and giving me dual-action Advil along with clear instructions to help manage the discomfort. They also invited me to become an ongoing patient, which I absolutely plan to do. 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring dentist in the San Diego area, I would highly recommend Libby Dental. Going to the dentist is rarely something anyone looks forward to, but they truly made it a great experience—and I’m so grateful I found them!

Libby Dental deserves all the stars. My dental hygienist, Linda, is one of the most patient and caring people I’ve ever met in a dental office. She has such a gentle approach and always checks in to make sure I’m comfortable, especially during cleanings. For people who deal with dental anxiety (like me), this kind of care means everything. I’ve been seeing Linda at Libby Dental for 8 years now. She is so gentle and takes her time with my cleaning. Best dental hygienist EVER. I can’t recommend this place enough!
