To say I felt cared for and seen at this practice is an understatement. I came in with real dental trauma. What I found instead was calm, affirmation, and genuine empathy. This was my first visit, and I came in essentially in tears. A fractured root canal was causing me debilitating pain, and within two hours of signing in, I was on my way home — tooth extracted, pain gone, and feeling completely taken care of. The process was seamless and painless in a way I honestly didn't think was possible for me. Dr. Andrea Joy Smith has earned a patient for life. I requested an appointment at from a recommendation of a parishioner from my Church in Carmichael. I told the Office that I have Delta Dental insurance. I was told that they accepted my insurance. One year later I get a bill for the services they performed. When I called Delta Dental, they told me that Dr. Andrea Joy Smith’s office was not registered with them. I would not recommend this dentist. I paid the bill, but had they been covered with Delta Dental I would’ve only been charged about 1/4 of what I was charged.
