Between the X-rays, 3D imaging, and scans, I was able to see the full structure of my bones, the topography of my teeth, and a complete model of my mouth. The team identified my needs, recommended an amazing treatment plan, and truly prioritized patient care. Brittany went above and beyond in explaining everything, including the fascinating connection between mouth and gum health, gut health, and mental health—something no dentist has ever discussed with me in all my years of care! This wasn't just a basic cleaning; it felt like seeing a true specialist for oral health focused on preventative, diagnostic, and holistic care. I am so thankful they provided such an integrated view of my overall well-being. I don't write many reviews, so taking the time to write this truly speaks to how wonderful this practice is. Came in as a new patient and enjoyed the experience. Everyone on staff was helpful and full of positive energy. I had such a great experience at Toothbar today. I went in for an emergency appointment after dealing with really bad sensitivity in my front teeth, and after not getting many answers from another dentist in East Austin, I was honestly pretty stressed. Toothbar got me in same day and immediately made me feel taken care of. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the second I walked in. Check in was quick, the office is super nice, and they even gave me a blanket and TV while I waited which made it feel way less “dentist office” and way more relaxing. But the biggest shoutout goes to Dr. Andrea Bakke. She was AMAZING. So thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything, rule out different possibilities, and gave me more helpful information than I’ve gotten anywhere else about what could actually be causing this issue. I finally felt like someone was really listening and trying to get to the root of the problem instead of rushing me out the door. She also gave me a referral and guidance for the condition she suspects I may have, which honestly saved me a ton of time and frustration. I left feeling relieved, informed, and actually optimistic. Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Toothbar and Dr. Andrea Bakke. I’ll definitely be coming back and sending friends and family here too.

It was my first visit today, and I’d absolutely recommend this place. The front desk staff were both friendly and welcoming, and I was called back quickly with hardly any wait. My dental hygienist was incredibly kind, made me feel comfortable right away, and kept things relaxed the whole time. They even offer a blanket and a neck warmer, which is such a nice touch because who wants to be cold in the dentist chair? Both the hygienist and the dentist took the time to explain anything that needed attention and clearly walked me through what to expect moving forward. It’s not easy to find a great dental office, but I’m really glad I chose this one.

Dr. Bakke treats her patients with excellent care and consideration. I trust her because she always takes the time to clearly explain what kind of care she thinks is most appropriate, perfectly blending calm and professional expertise. She puts me at ease, makes me laugh, and is also incredibly patient and kind.
