    As soon as I entered the office I felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff was excellent and caring about my safety and comfort. Dr Upton is friendly, thoughtful and thorough. I had an excellent first visit and look forward to a successful treatment plan.

    Updated Review My first visit was over three months ago, and I’m still waiting to be scheduled for a cleaning despite being told it would happen "as soon as possible." On top of that, I’ve been receiving bills even though I paid in full during my visit. The billing process is incredibly confusing and frustrating. When I initially booked, I specifically asked about what services were covered by my insurance. However, during the appointment, they performed a service that my insurance doesn’t cover. While I understand this office has great reviews (which is why I chose them), I didn’t expect to deal with so much miscommunication and paperwork. Previously The dental office is very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, there are a few drawbacks. For new patients, the initial visit doesn't include a cleaning—you’ll need to schedule a second appointment for that. Unfortunately, scheduling is quite difficult; I still haven’t been able to book my follow-up. Additionally, the wait times were quite long. I waited for the hygienist to take X-rays, then for the dentist to arrive, and finally for the coordinator to help schedule my next visit. My entire appointment ended up taking almost two hours.

    I had two fillings today and it was a very comfortable experience. Dr. Uetsuki and his staff are attentive, friendly, and professional. The office is clean. The front staff are always friendly and inviting. Thank you, HMDC!

    Love Henderson Mill's team! Everyone is friendly, professional, and have always provided great customer service along with being transparent about pricing. I've moved a little farther away, but still make this my home dentist -- worth the trip!

    Edit: “Incorrectly” is on their website, how I was directed off of Google. So that warrants all of the phone calls that early because the office admin doesn’t have their scheduling setup properly? Then trying to blame the patient was the real insult, then doubling down online to protect your overly SEO’d 4.9 rating. Scheduling at Henderson Mill Dental Care is a nightmare. This exact same issue has happened to me two times in a row. The first time, I made an appointment over the phone and was told the next day that I did it wrong. It has now been over a year since I was able to get my teeth cleaned because I was on medication and had to wait. Before that, I had been to Henderson Mill Dental Care three different times—this wasn’t my first visit—and I literally live just a block away. This morning, I started getting calls at 7 a.m. for a 9 a.m. appointment, one after another until I finally answered. When I called back, I was immediately told by Janelle that because I used their own phone system to schedule my appointment, it was booked incorrectly. How does that make sense? I used their system exactly as instructed, yet somehow I’m at fault. Now, once again, they can’t do my cleaning today because of a scheduling mistake on their end. After two failed attempts in a row, my family and I have decided to find another dentist. If a patient can’t even rely on the office’s own scheduling system to secure a basic cleaning, something is very wrong here and from the other reviews it appears I’m not the only one having this issue either.
