I started going to this dentist a few years ago, and due to some obstacles I had to stop for a while. Coming back earlier this year was extremely smooth and the staff did everything to help accommodate me. I’ve gotten cleanings done, root canals done and even fillings, and all were handled with care and attention. The staff were super supportive during the procedures as well checking in with me to make sure all was going well. I’m sort of terrified of the dentist but they made it the best experience ever. When it came to payments, they heard me out about my struggles and worked with me as much as possible after finding a solution, I was more than thankful for their help. All of the staff from the reception desk to the inner corners of this office are professional, caring and love their job. I will be continuing to come back in the future and fully recommend their services to any and everyone!

I am terrified of the dentist. I've been going to Dental Team of Miami for a few years now. I can't say enough about the staff. They make me feel so comfortable. Dr. Helfant is the best dentist I've ever had. He always makes sure I'm comfortable and he's so gentle. I highly recommend this dental office.

Avoid this dental office! I wish I never would have visited. First, they tried to hit me with a $5,000 treatment plan (my cost after insurance) and told me I had a laundry list of items that needed to be addressed which included, to name a few, a cracked tooth, cavities, and I needed approximately 7 fillings. I wasn't shown my x-rays or proof of these "issues". I went to get a second opinion and was told I didn't have 80% of what they claimed. I was, however, told that I have really good insurance so that may have been a factor. Fast forward a month later, and I 100% believe they were trying to bill my insurance for as much as they could. I received a bill in the mail for services rendered to my daughter after I was told in office everything was 100% covered. My husband called regarding the bill and the receptionist admitted they did not check for available benefits prior to our visit. Instead, they assumed then billed me for those that were not available because the benefit had already been used. I told them during the visit "only what is covered by the insurance", and I was told upon leaving "You're all good". Ultimately, my husband spoke with the office manager, Yessica, and explained the situation. Her response? We'll just send it to collections. Absolutely, appalling experience.

After being miserable for so long with my teeth being in an awful state, I found myself unhappy with every place I went. The prices were absurd and the coldness of the facilities even worse. Then I found this group!!! It’s been amazing!! They have different financial options, they worked with my schedule and in 4 weeks or so I will have my smile back to what it used to be!

I had a great experience at Dental Team of Miami. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the office was clean and well organized. Dr. Helfant was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of dental care!
