I've never had a bad experience at a dentist, but this was the best experience I've ever had. Staff was happy to see me at the end of the week on a Friday, and still energetic and friendly. The office is excellently equipped, and well invested in. The imaging, scanning and in house capabilities/tech were simply bar none. You can really tell the practice isn't just a business, it's a passion. Clean, tidy and well maintained space as well, nestled in a fantastic location for access! Here's to hoping East Side Smiles has a very profitable and busy future, so that I can continue to go here for years to come. I've rotated around to different offices, and have lived my whole life in Nashville. I can confidently say, this was the best experience I've ever had in a dentists office. ❤️ Edit: After scoping their reviews out, y'all, they couldn't have been more clear about pricing and billing. My cleaning was free, and my bill was $21 for fluoride. The tech knew the charge off the top of her head, and was the same price when I checked out up front.

I was warmly greeted by front desk workers upon entering the office followed by friendly greeting by gorgeous fur baby, an adorable doodle. Ally, who took all radiographs and imaging was very kind and knowledgeable. It was the most thorough exam I've ever experienced. They use state of the art technology which made all aspects of my initial exam a positive experience. Dr. Hadley was friendly and welcoming. He was thorough, gentle and clearly explained all his findings and treatment plan..The office was very clean with a pleasing decor. Every room had a window revealing the attractive landscaping outdoors. All in all, it was a very positive experience.

My experience was excellent! . From the first appointment to the last appointment of care, Dr. Hadley and his staff were so professional, courteous, and very thorough in explaining the process of restoring my smile. They made me feel very welcomed each time I had an appointment. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Unacceptable billing experience. Seems to be a theme. Read through other reviews before you go. Overall, the office staff was friendly, and the care I received was fine. I had a cleaning and a molar crown put in. The cleaning was as good as anywhere else. The crown was okay. Not super thrilled with the quality (after a few months, it still doesn't feel "natural" like some of the better crowns I've had), but functionally it gets the job done. My big gripe here is with their billing and their inability or willingness to hold themselves accountable for unacceptable billing practices. They gave me a "good faith estimate" on my crown that I paid up front, having already had all of my insurance information, but apparently quoted me as though I were in-network when they knew I was not (their words). I agreed to the work thinking it would cost around $900. (Paid in advance of service.) A few weeks after my crown, I got a bill for over $800. Turns out I was NOT in-network. When I discovered this and confronted the office manager with the information, I just received excuses: "it's not our fault you didn't know you were out-of-network", "we only gave you an estimate", "we made no mistakes", etc. Clearly mistakes were made. I was billed nearly double what they said it would cost when I agreed to the service and they refused to take any accountability. I would obviously have shopped around before agreeing to almost double that initial quote if I had known in advance it would be that expensive. After my initial discussion with the office manager, I was told she would call back about my proposed resolution. I've called back twice since, and have not been able to get ahold of her. This has ultimately led to me filing a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Will update this review with a resolution.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t usually enjoy going to the dentist — honestly, I’ve had a few not-so-great experiences in the past — but I have to say, my visit to Eastside Smiles completely changed that. From the moment I walked in the door until the time I left, every single person I came across was amazing. The front office staff were kind and welcoming, the dental hygienist was gentle and reassuring, and Dr. Patel took great care of me. I had some pain in a tooth that had broken, and they made me feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely listened to. So often people only leave reviews when something goes wrong, but I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone there for doing things right. I left smiling (which says a lot for a dentist visit!) and I can honestly say I highly recommend Eastside Smiles. Olivia Hill
