a week agoI’m so glad I went to see Jody. Everyone there, from all the ladies that saw me today to Jody made me feel right at home. I’m very happy with my consultation and can’t wait to go back for my cleaning. How many dentists can you say that about? Love love the office. Thanks to Jody and the staff at Jody Jones DDS.

5 months agoI was looking for a better dentist after having a horrible experience at a franchise dentist and I am so happy I chose this office. Lacie at the front desk was super sweet and helpful! Maggie did my cleaning and she was a super star! So personable and friendly truly made the experience great! Dr. Jones was also great, explained exactly what he was doing and why, which I liked a lot. Truly a great experience, never left a dentist and felt this good!

3 months agoThis is no doubt the best dentist in town. Really enjoyed speaking with Dr. Jones today and getting to meet him for the first time and getting to know him a bit. My dental hygienist today, Maggie, is the best hygienist I have ever had. My cleaning procedure was like a visit at the spa! She was that good! She was also super friendly and so sweet! I can’t believe I’m saying this about a dentist but but I’m looking forward to going back in 4 months for another cleaning! I recommend Jody Jones 10 out of 10. 5 FULL stars! - Matt Warren

4 months agoI highly recommend Dr. Jones. His staff is very professional (and respond promptly to texts). The office is beautiful. I have been going to Dr. Jones for 3 years. I had never had a cavity before. My insurance changed last year. Thus, I saw a different dentist in town. The new dentist diagnosed me with 7 cavities. I was having no symptoms. I regretfully let the new dentist repair 4 before seeking a second opinion with Dr. Jones. I transferred my care back to Dr. Jones. As a physician myself, less is more for me. Once you drill on teeth, it cannot be reversed. Dr. Jones is not aggressive nor will he try to push procedures. Dr. Jones does what is right for the patient. I cannot recommend Dr. Jones and his staff enough!

2 weeks agoA Routine Visit Turned Into a Painful Ordeal In May 2023, I visited Dr. Jones for a routine cleaning and checkup. During the appointment, he reviewed an X-ray and pointed out an abnormality in one of my teeth. He recommended an inlay/onlay procedure, explaining that it was a relatively simple and common solution—essentially, removing part of the tooth and replacing it with a custom-made porcelain insert. He assured me there was minimal risk involved. However, soon after the procedure, I began experiencing persistent throbbing pain in the tooth. After several weeks with no improvement, I returned for a follow-up appointment. I was told the tooth might be infected and was referred to a local endodontist for a root canal, which I underwent that same week. While the root canal provided some relief, the pain never fully subsided. I returned to Dr. Jones, who then performed a full crown procedure, as the original inlay/onlay had been drilled out during the root canal. Although he did not charge me for the crown, I was still billed for the initial inlay/onlay procedure—the one that led to the infection and subsequent root canal. Due to limited dental insurance coverage at the time, I ended up paying nearly $2,000 out of pocket including the root canal. Dr. Jones markets himself as a premium provider catering to VIP clientele in the Nashville area, and his fees reflect that positioning. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with that promise. The office staff was disorganized and was unresponsive to emails I sent after the complications began. To make matters worse, the pain has continued, even with the new crown. According to other specialists I’ve consulted, the crown may be poorly fitted—it irritates my gums, leaving a red line and causing bleeding. Nearly two years later, I’m now facing the prospect of a full tooth extraction and implant. The final costs are expected to exceed $5,000, not to mention the time lost to countless appointments, X-rays, and follow-ups. Key Takeaways: Dr. Jones promotes himself as a high-end dental provider, but in my case, the quality of care and service did not match the premium pricing. The office lacked professionalism and responsiveness, which made an already stressful situation worse. I was recommended a surgical procedure on my very first visit. In hindsight, I should have sought a second opinion. No dental procedure is truly “low risk.” Ask your dentist direct questions about the potential downsides and failure rates. If they can’t provide clear, objective answers, consider getting another opinion before proceeding. This has been a painful and expensive lesson. I hope sharing my story helps others avoid a similar experience.
