Everyone there is exceptionally nice! They all most definitely know what they’re doing. There is also a continuous , large , computerized screen so that you can see & more clearly understand why & what you should have done. You won’t feel like you’re being pushed into doing anything more than you should. Dr.Joseph will make sure you understand thoroughly about your dental condition. Hi is a very calm & poised person. Anything you want to know about, he will explain it to you in a very easy understanding way. There location is very convenient being only a few blocks away from the SF BART/Muni stop. Ronny J

They’re awesome! My first visit with them was for a tooth cleaning, and they did a fantastic job. Later, I found out I had been charged out-of-pocket, which means you pay upfront and your insurance reimburses you. Since I wasn’t familiar with this process, I got a little confused and even frustrated. I ended up paying part of the bill with my HSA, and around the same time, HSA sent me a check for the 2/3 of the billed amount. Not realizing what it was for, I thought my insurance was the problem, while the had sent me the check and I forgot about it. When I came back for a gum visit, I shared the story with the team, and they patiently listened, pulled out the paperwork, and helped me understand everything. In the end, I realized it was my own misunderstanding, but I’m so thankful to Dr. Joseph and the entire team for being so kind, patient, and understanding. I’m very sensitive when it comes to dental work, and I normally spread procedures across multiple visits. But because of the trust I now have in them, I scheduled all four of my procedures for a single day (something I’d never usually do). That says a lot about the confidence I feel with this team.

The office is super convenient—right in Union Square near me—and I’ve never had to wait long. Scheduling is easy, and it’s never a struggle to find an appointment that works. Dr. Joseph has such a calming presence that instantly puts you at ease, and he’s incredibly knowledgeable. With his guidance, I’ve actually been able to reverse and manage cavities without needing any procedures, which felt huge to me. The office itself is spotless and modern, with all the comforts you’d hope for—comfortable chairs, monitors, and little touches that make the whole experience feel elevated. What really makes the place special, though, is the team. Lynn is always in a great mood and greets me with a smile, and Katrina is truly the crown jewel. We bonded over our love of fur babies on my very first visit, and she’s made me feel like family ever since. It’s the combination of expert care, genuine warmth, and thoughtful details (like using warm water for cleanings!) that makes me look forward to coming in. I can’t recommend Dr. Joseph and his team enough.

Dr. Joseph and his entire staff are absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism. Dr. Joseph is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel completely at ease. His gentle and caring approach is unmatched. The entire team from the front desk to the assistants works together like a well-oiled machine, creating a seamless and genuinely kind experience. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We've been with our previous dental office more than 15 years and recently we relocate to SF and decide to follow our dentist long term friend's suggestion to try DSF and it's like "wow". I wish I know DSF earlier. My hygienist is Katrina and my husband's Hygienist is Nubia. So far we've been with DSF 1 year, and decided to stay. I can't believe I watched a Netflix movie during deep cleaning, and Katrina is so professional and gentle I ended up enjoy my movie and deep cleaning experience very much. Both me and my husband plus our dentist friend all love Dr. Joseph very much, he's very professional. humble. skillful and caring. And I love get all my questions answered by text message with Fabian, at first I thought I am talking to an auto generated application because it's so fast when some link is not functional or questions about my insurance. Fabian solve my problem with text right a way. Don't want to keep this secret to myself. I think we found the best dental office by following our dentist friend to the dental office she use.
