I absolutely love the dental services provided by Dr. Candace Kwakye and her team at CK Family Dental. She is incredibly friendly, informative, patient, caring, and warm — truly everything you could want in a dentist. I first started seeing Dr. Kwakye shortly after the pandemic shutdown. Like many people, I had a few dental issues that had developed or needed follow-up after that period, and I was a little nervous about getting back into dental care. After reading so many great reviews about her, I decided to give her a try, and she turned out to be everything people said she was and more. From my very first visit, she made me feel completely comfortable. My treatment plan was detailed and involved, but the way she carefully explained everything, reassured me, and projected confidence that we could improve my dental health really put me at ease. She also offered great advice and practical steps to help me continue caring for my teeth at home, which made a noticeable difference in my progress. Now, over a year later, I’ve seen tremendous improvement in my dental health. My teeth feel better, look better, and I actually feel confident about my smile again. The entire CK Family Dental staff is just as amazing — friendly, warm, and supportive every single time, both in person and over the phone. They’ve made every visit such a positive experience that they honestly feel like family. I even travel over an hour just to see them because it’s so worth it. Dr. Kwakye has always taken care of me and truly puts her patients’ best interests first. I just had the best dentist experience I’ve ever had at CK Family Dental. Every person that helped me—the person in the phone who helped me schedule the appointment, the people working at the check-in desk, the person who took my x-rays, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning, and Dr. Somlar—were so lovely, patient, professional, and transparent with me every step of the way. They explained everything clearly and discussed payment transparently. They left me with a brighter smile and a goody bag! I can’t recommend this office enough. I can’t believe that I am going to say this, but…I can’t wait to go back!

My hygenist didn t know how to work x-ray machine. I kept choking during cleaning proceedure. Finally, i asked to spit. The suction machine pulled on my gum , but left liquid for me to swallow. My teeth weren't really cleaned in the end. I Heard a few times that it was hard to clean my teeth because of food on them. After i was ready to leave, i realized my teeth in back weren t really cleaned. So the doctor told me to take it up w assistant. Then there was a second try . My mouth neck and tongue weren't checked for a growth. I needed to explain that my teeth were sensitive and needed numbing before cleaning. I asked if numbing for cleaning was in my former notes. Congradulations on baby boy! I just felt as though no one knew me or my dental history. The front desk was pleasant.
