Communicative. Kind. Thorough. Plus a friendly knowledgeable staff. I have sensitive teeth and have had terrible experiences with dentists. This combination has made me very anxious patient. I was put at ease and felt heard for the first time in a very long time. Highly recommend Dr. Lake.

They remember details about me and my family, always make me feel comfortable, and provide excellent dental care. I never feel pressured or shamed, and receive great advice about how to take care of my oral health. Even after moving out of SF, I still make the journey back to their office specifically because the quality is that good. Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting Dr. Lake's office. I was impressed walking in that everything looked new and fresh. This is a classic Union Square building that has been completely renovated. The office staff is friendly and welcoming and the technician (Sarah) was not only friendly but funny. She made sure I was comfortable as she put my mouth through all kinds of contortions to take very complete photos. And Dr Lake was extremely professional. He reviewed the photos with me and explained to me what they showed. And he used language that even a lawyer could understand. (I'm a lawyer). So I liked him very much. I'm going to have him replace a crown where he showed me decay underneath. I've very comfortable with Dr. Lake and his team.
