This was my first time visiting Dr. Lake's office. I was impressed walking in that everything looked new and fresh. This is a classic Union Square building that has been completely renovated. The office staff is friendly and welcoming and the technician (Sarah) was not only friendly but funny. She made sure I was comfortable as she put my mouth through all kinds of contortions to take very complete photos. And Dr Lake was extremely professional. He reviewed the photos with me and explained to me what they showed. And he used language that even a lawyer could understand. (I'm a lawyer). So I liked him very much. I'm going to have him replace a crown where he showed me decay underneath. I've very comfortable with Dr. Lake and his team.

The best Dentist in San Francisco. I have been looking for the good Dentist for years and finally I found Doctor Paul Ryan Lake and recently Doctor Alison there taking care of my teeth. I always happy each time I have appointments there, Doctor Allison an mazing too. I can’t believe I can fall sleep while she clean my teeth. Thank you for taking care of my teeth for me and my family. The location of the office is great too. I always take public transport there and have nice walk to Dentist office.

Dr. Lake, and his entire office staff, are truly one of a kind. Never have I been happy to visit the dentist before I became a patient. Thorough, kind, and personable - my oral health has never been better because of their guidance. Thank you for laying the foundation on how a doctors office should feel!

I love love Dr. Lake (and his staff). He and his team are highly competent, super friendly and kind, and very flexible/accommodating. So much so that I moved from SF to Napa nearly 4 years ago... and still come down to the city for all of my dental needs! I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Lake is the absolute best dentist. I've been going to him for years and he is thorough, gentle, explains everything clearly and just generally cares about his patients. Highly recommend!
