I recently visited Smile Rotunda for a cavity removal, and root canal analysis. These procedures can be very uncomfortable and challenging. However, I have to honestly commend Dr. Koby for his gentle, but thorough technique. He explained every step to me. The dental assistant was attentive and reassuring to my every need. I really appreciated the small cushion that was placed inside the pocket of my cheek, to assist me in keeping my mouth open. It's the small things that mean a lot. The staff at the registration desk were friendly and welcoming. I have been attending this dental office since my daughter was 8 years old. Well, that same daughter is now 32! Dr. Shepley was my first dentist at this office, and now the torch has been handed off to Dr. Koby and his wonderful staff. Thanks everyone for helping to make a very uncomfortable event for me, not too scary after all! I will return. See you all next time!

Friendly staff. Really good, professional, thorough, thoughtful cleaning. Felt like the finish of my transition from my previous dentist, Dr. Shepley, in this same location. No question about the quality of the work, I just can't tell if I need all the procedures they do. They did both X-rays and fluoride and the total bill was $400.

Front desk staff was personable and helpful. This helped because I was nervous for many reasons. Dental hygienist was personable and explained things well. Dentist also had bedside manner, which isn't common. I feel confident that I made a good choice with this dentist. They don't shame me for the state of my teeth but look at how they can help me improve. Staff are encouraging.

My experience was great, up until the end. This had been my second visit there and the staff is very professional and kind. In all honesty I have had fear of dentistry offices because of my TMJ but they were very careful, informative and thorough with me. The reason for my rating is due to billing. I initially had an appointment set up at the beginning of the year that I had to reschedule due to conflicts with my dental insurance. I called to advise them that my enrollment through my employer didn’t go through and I was scouting dental coverage at the time. We rescheduled the appointment and I was advised that the services being rendered were $230 and an additional $30 for fluoride (it was a cleaning). Due to the information provided, I opted not to get dental insurance because I would pay out of pocket. After everything was completed and I’m being checked out I was advised the services were $500! Nearly twice what I was quoted on the call where I rescheduled my appointment. I’m not upset about the cost, I’m more disappointed about how it was handled and the fact that I was made to feel that it was somehow my fault or that I misunderstood. I was given an apology but it did not feel sincere nor genuine. I was able to pay but it would have been nice to have been offered some type of resolve instead of making me feel like they feel I was lying. I have a 6 month cleaning scheduled and if l decide to go and get better services then I will change my rating
