Dr. Rachel Harris Monteiro is the founder of River Oaks Dental and is a general dentist, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Monteiro graduated from The Bolles School, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Florida. She then attended dental school at the University of Louisville, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Monteiro has a true passion for dentistry and is able to serve Jacksonville with cosmetic dentistry, dentures, dental implants, dental crowns, preventative care, and much more.

a month agoI just had my first cleaning at River Oaks Dental. This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office! My dental hygienist Rachel was amazing! She was extremely thorough and took ample time to capture initial photos, X-rays, scans, etc. I have not had this good of a cleaning in a long time. I transferred from another dentist and wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to transfer. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Dr. Monteiro was amazing as well. She is very caring and wants to make sure that my oral health is properly monitored considering my history. I have not received this level of concern at my previous provider. I felt very welcomed from the moment I made the appointment to just a few minutes ago when Rachel followed up with post appointment. This is a great group of professionals that handle everyone with kindness and humanity! I highly recommend River Oaks Dental for all of your dental needs!!

a week agoFirst visit was today and I couldn't be more pleased. The appointment scheduling was easy, and the office manager even contacted me to let me know of an earlier opening if I wanted to come in. The hygienist was very adept in her technique and the cleaning was painless. Meeting Dr. Montiero was very pleasant, and I felt very much that I was in good hands for my dental care. Highly recommend this office.

After listening to my dental concerns and anxiety, then doing a thorough assessment of my teeth and gums, we discussed a proactive dental plan to achieve great oral health along with a beautiful smile. From the front desk, to the dental team, everyone was kind , and professional. Great first impressions! a month agoThis is a wonderful dental practice. Gentle, caring and kind. I am very nervous around a dentist, however, Dr. Rachel and her group are very understanding and make their patients feel at ease. I highly recommend River Oaks Dental.
