a month agoI changed dentists to Pearl which is walkable from my job. My Hygienist Taylor was awesome and friendly. I would recommend her if you are looking for a new hygienist. For the first time pictures were taken of my teeth and shown to me. I have silver fillings that are probably from the 1980’s and a near 30 year of abcess. My dentist Dr Chelsea recommended the steps I should take to ensure I have healthy teeth. I am glad I found this place.

2 weeks agoAfter a few visits at Pearl, this office has really grown on me. The front desk is kind and welcoming. Each hygienist I’ve had has brought their own unique personality, which I really appreciate. I have significant dental anxiety and a long history of dental work, and even so, every provider has been patient and empathetic. Dr. Jenna has especially stood out- extremely kind, reassuring, and makes you feel comfortable. It’s a well-run office with providers who clearly care about their patients.

a month agoMy visit at your office was a good one. A friendly reception right from when I walked into the office. Taylor the Dental hygienist gave me an excellent cleaning, she was very gentle, skilled and knowledgeable of her field; the Dentist (Dr Jenna) was friendly too! “Thanks, my visit was beneficial.”😁

3 weeks agoI went to Pearl for several years , before my son, who is now 10 was born and never was told I needed a deep cleaning or had any gum issues. I received my Invisalign care here , regularly scheduled cleanings , etc . Pearl started off as a practice that felt like they cared but quickly grew into the mass dental practice it is today. I frequently went to the uptown locations, then started going to the Park Rd, location (I hated this location, rude , cold , and lacks inclusion) The genuine concern and passion the doctors possessed before … left when Dr. Jenny decided to expand , along with true care of my dental health. The dentist at the Park Rd. location kept pushing my son to get braces when he’s not ready. They told me I needed a filling when I don’t , but completely overlooked my gum health!? They will do anything to add on unnecessary charges here. I have recently switched to a different dentist and immediately was told after oral xrays I have plaque buildup that needed immediate attention with deep cleaning to prevent infection and periodontal disease, I have gum recession where the buildup was . PLEASE as you read my review ask how I can have buildup and gum recession if I’ve been a patient at Pearl for over a decade?! I’m currently working with my insurance company and legal to see my options. Do not go here . They will not give you the care you deserve .

a month agoI had a very disappointing experience during my recent dental appointment. This was my second visit this year, and it was completely different from my first one. During my first visit, I was treated very well. The staff took their time, the cleaning was thorough, and the dentist carefully explained that I had one cavity and walked me through everything patiently. Because of that experience, I trusted this clinic and returned. However, during this second visit, things went downhill. • The doctor had changed, and the interaction felt rushed and impersonal. • I was suddenly told I now have two additional cavities, with very little explanation, which felt confusing and concerning. • The cleaning lasted barely 5 minutes, compared to my first visit where it was done slowly and thoroughly by a hygienist. What bothered me the most was during the cleaning. I was bleeding, and saliva and blood were building up. Normally, the suction tool is used to keep the mouth clear. When I gestured for suction, the hygienist rudely told me to “just swallow it.” This felt extremely unprofessional, uncomfortable, and dismissive. Overall, I felt like I was not cared for properly, possibly because my visit was fully covered by insurance. The lack of attention, rushed service, and rude behavior made this one of my worst dental experiences. Just because a visit is covered by insurance doesn’t mean the service is free or that patients should be treated carelessly or disrespectfully. I expected consistency and basic patient care, especially after such a positive first visit. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
