My husband and I went for our first visit at Sonterra Dental yesterday and it was the best dental care visit we’ve ever had! I looked up dental care centers close to us and read their reviews prior to booking an appointment and there were so many positive reviews on Sonterra Dental! We were so impressed during our visit and had an amazing experience, it’s no wonder they have so many glowing reviews! The staff are great, they went over and beyond the usual interaction with patients! From the moment you enter the premises, you are welcomed with a sign board at the reception area with your names on it, and at the exam room where you are greeted with the huge TV monitor with a big personalized welcome with your name on the screen! You are then given a quick and informative tour of the facility, and my awesome hygienist, Han, was incredibly knowledgeable and very good at what she does!! She walked me though the whole process! Asked me what my expectations were, and /or what would I want improved! My husband was also all praises and very happy with his hygienist, Casie! We were offered blankets and shades, and even a small pillow to make us more comfortable. Dr. Alexis Ruiz was very attentive, went over the dental images on the big screen and answered all questions. We noticed the staff had a good camaraderie and were very nice, which reflects on how they also interact with patients. Sonterra Dental is definitely the best that we’ve ever been!

It is very easy to dislike going to the dentist.. however I have never EVER had a bad experience here. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, and I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 or so minutes to get called back. The whole office is always spotless, and the patient rooms are nice and spacious. They each have big TV screens that make it easy to follow along as you go over your x rays, results, images, etc. during the appt. All the staff also happen to be the kindest people you will ever meet! They consistently make sure that you’re comfortable, and they inform about what they are doing so you know what to expect. I always feel like my concerns and questions are being heard and taken seriously. They never rush you, but they are also GREAT at getting patients in and out. Very efficient teamwork. For example, recently a couple lyft drivers had cancelled on me and I was super late to my appointment. They still worked with me and got me out early enough to make it to work on time💪 Thank y’all!❤️

Sonterra Dental is the best. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I was brought back right on time by a very nice young lady named Casey. She gave me a quick tour. Once I was seated she asked some questions and let me know about the procedure. She is very kind and attentive. She answered all my questions. Casey did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable and taken care of. After Casey did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Woolwine came in and discussed what he recommends. He is great. He explains everything so you understand . I am so happy I chose Sonterra Dental.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Ruiz and her team. Dr. Ruiz is an excellent dentist who is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. She took the time to explain everything clearly, including showing me my X-rays and explaining my tooth health with very hi-tech equipment, which made me feel informed and confident throughout my visit. The office was also very clean and beautiful, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. A special thank you to Casey, the hygienist, for doing such a thorough and gentle cleaning. My teeth have never felt so clean, and Casey’s attention to detail was truly impressive. I also want to recognize Mayra, the treatment coordinator, for making the entire process seamless. She was incredibly helpful with scheduling my appointment and arranging my future visits, ensuring everything was convenient and stress-free. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Ruiz and her team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care. Thank you so much!

I just had my regular cleaning and xrays at Sonterra. What a great experience! Casey was (IS) my hygenist and did an amazing job. I will ask for her every time from now on. I had an insurance change and so I tried another local dentist that was in network. That drove me right back to the great people at Sonterra. Learn from my experience. If you go there, don't every change, if you don't, get ready to find your forever dentist. Dr. Woolwine has seen our kids grow up and me grow old(er), and we trust him with all our dental care. When one of my girls had a sport accident that needed emergency tooth work, Woolwine took care of her so well. He is connected through the area with other experts in the field and is humble enough to refer procedures that another expert may be better suited for and then follows that all the way through to completion. I never feel that this office is adding on things to jack up the price either. Amazing office, great people, and talented dental experts. Thank you Casey for the amazing experience today.
