I was lucky to get Dr. Kanchan as my dentist; she has a great bed-side manner, explaining patiently to me every step of the process and the reason behind each step. I needed a crown remade and she & her team ended up making three, discarding the first two after they didn't meet her standards (she told me food would have been trapped in the gap). The dentists & the support team are efficient and kind-spirited and you can tell quickly that they don't just work together, they like one another. It doesn't feel like walking into an Aspen Dental or a nameless big corporate brand. In an inherently information-asymmetrical environment like this, where a patient is basically at the mercy of their doctor, it is important to me to feel like I'm a person and not just another customer, and Dr. Kanchan & her team did that marvelously.

Very poor experience. Each time we spoke with someone, we were told something different. The visit ended up being a complete waste of time and money, with nothing accomplished other than taking insurance to make sure they received what they wanted. We made it clear that we were traveling and had limited days available. We were specifically scheduled for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Kanchan initially told us the wisdom teeth were at exactly the right stage to be removed. However, after we had already planned for the procedure that same day, she said she needed to discuss it further. After waiting for quite some time, a different staff member (not even the dentist) came in to inform us that Dr. Patel said the teeth were not ready to be removed and would cause extreme pain and a long healing. First, we were told it would likely be in a week. Then it changed to six months, along with a requirement for another cleaning and more X-rays before they could proceed. How can two professionals have such differing opinions… I believe it was all due to them promising one thing even there was no intention of the extraction at that appointment. We even tried to leave feeling like it was a waste of time only to be told to wait and they would make it work. The office appears disorganized and unwilling to stand by what they say. The fact that my daughter was (and is) in pain meant nothing to them. There was no apology and no accountability for the confusion or inconvenience caused. The only positive part of the experience was the woman at the front desk, who was very polite and courteous. Overall, extremely disappointing. I would not return. **a reply to you… there were multiple phone conversations before our appointment and I offered to send over the X-rays and evaluation from the campus dentist she saw, but was told not needed and would not help. If your staff doesn’t share that with you that’s on you and your staff. And for two dentists who work closely together to have such extreme differing opinions is baffling (but helpful for the practice to use as a reason to back out of what we were told would be done). Also, We were scheduled for that appointment on a Friday and were told when we were there that extractions are done Thursday’s not Friday’s. How can any patient trust what comes from your office if its is different every time you speak to someone?? My daughter’s safety was not the concern… giving incorrect information about your practice and then doing nothing seems more like it.

I am a very anxious person by nature and was very nervous about my upcoming appointment. All of that was laid to rest upon meeting Dr. Kanchan. She is absolutely wonderful! She explained everything about my dental plan and made me feel worry free. The staff is very friendly and so welcoming. Just an overall great atmosphere. I highly recommend Dental Center of Jacksonville and Dr. Kanchan!

After moving to a new location, it has been very difficult to find a trustworthy dental office, but, it has now been found ! Beautiful office ! My dental hygienist, Jeni, was fabulous! I felt so comfortable. The Dentist along everyone made me feel like I was in great hands! (It was so refreshing not to be presented with packages and credit lines and extra add-ons that are completely unnecessary) Thank you everyone for such a great experience -from beginning to end- from booking the appointment to checking in with the very friendly front desk staff. I would recommend this location to all of my family and friends!

If you are looking for kind and amazing staff I highly recommend this dental office. Every time I walk in I am greeted immediately and with many beautiful smiles. The staff is always friendly and available to assist with any questions or concerns I may have. I recently had my cleaning with Shweta and she is the absolute best. She takes her time and most importantly she is gentle. I don’t feel rushed and and never forced to proceed with anything that I do not want. I always refer this exact location to anyone who I know is looking for a dentist. They are worth the travel.
