Dr. Rachel Harris Monteiro is the founder of River Oaks Dental and is a general dentist, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Monteiro graduated from The Bolles School, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Florida. She then attended dental school at the University of Louisville, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Monteiro has a true passion for dentistry and is able to serve Jacksonville with cosmetic dentistry, dentures, dental implants, dental crowns, preventative care, and much more.

Dr. Monteiro was the absolute best dentist I have ever seen! She was so kind and down to earth. It seriously was like talking to my best friend. She was super thorough! I found my home 🩷

a week agoThe dental staff was friendly and accommodating including Dr. Monteiro. I came for a cleaning as a new patient and was misinformed about the need to have x rays (my fault) but the situation was explained in a very professional manner, I had a very thorough examination and I left convinced I had made the right choice in a dentist.

4 months agoFirst visit was today and I couldn't be more pleased. The appointment scheduling was easy, and the office manager even contacted me to let me know of an earlier opening if I wanted to come in. The hygienist was very adept in her technique and the cleaning was painless. Meeting Dr. Montiero was very pleasant, and I felt very much that I was in good hands for my dental care. Highly recommend this office.

3 months agoRiver Oaks Dental was amazing. I do not love the dentist and have some anxiety with it. They were patient, kind, caring, and let me know everything going on and coming up. They were transparent with what work I would need and the pricing. I look forward to River Oaks being my new dentist.

3 months agoDr. Monteiro has been my dentist for 5 years. She takes time to listen to her patients and provides exceptional, quality care. Her office is beautiful and her team is great. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
