I have not went to a dentist in almost 10 years and I was extremely anxious before my appointment. The moment I walked in, I felt at home. The receptionist greeted me with such positive energy that immediately helped reduce my anxiety. My hygienist listened to my concerns and fears and assured me that she would take good care of me. She was such a sweet lady who took her time with my exam and cleaning while also getting to know me on a personal level. I can't brag enough on her. Felt like I had known her for years! Dr. Capwell was so kind and explained my treatment plan very thoroughly. She was extremely patient and listened to my concerns. I cannot say enough good things about my first visit with Fountain City Smiles. I have no doubt that I chose the right dental practice for my needs!
I have a fear of dentists and haven’t been in many years. From the moment I stepped into this office, until I left, I felt very comfortable and confident that they were the right choice for me. Very friendly and professional. Explained my procedure, options and prices.

Highly recommend FCS!!!!! Their staff are the nicest people, so warm and welcoming with smiles on their faces. MARISA!! I cannot speak highly enough of her! I am very nervous at the dentist and was certainly nervous at a new office with new dentists and hygienists. The stars aligned and I found the wonderful Dr. Capwell and Marisa! Very knowledgeable women who made this the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had. Honestly 🩷
The staff (from the front desk to the dentist) are so understanding, kind, friendly, and overall wonderful. I had an emergency issue and I was able to get scheduled quickly, they walk through everything they are doing, make sure you're comfortable, and there are zero surprises, which I value. I am grateful we found them and I definitely suggest this office
Good experiences here overall. Dentist and hygienist are super cool and very nice. They have helped me get my dental health back on track after I had lapsed. I had a routine cleaning during my latest visit. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that there was an additional charge of over $30 for post-cleaning fluoride treatment. Although it was disclosed to me and I agreed, I won't be doing that again. The hygienist spent about 5 seconds wiping the fluoride on my teeth, it was totally not worth $30+. I'll just order some fluoride online and do it on my own if that's how it is. This should just be included as part of the cleaning, and I was not happy to hear that it was an extra fee. It didn't sit right with me.
