Yesterday (10/24/24) was my first visit to Knoxville Smiles. Great experience! Everyone in the office is so friendly and nice. My appt was with Dr Costa and I must say I am very impressed with him. He is super intelligent, truly listens to you and your concerns, is very kind and caring and has a great sense of humor too!! He is the epitome of an excellent dentist. All of his staff are so kind and caring as well (esp Shannon, Emily, Lacy, and Jorge who were a part of my care team for my first visit). I have no reservations in highly recommending Knoxville Smiles Malone & Costa for all your dental needs!

My experience at this dental office has been the best I have ever had, far surpassing any other in my 55+ years of dental care. From the front office, the dental treatment, to the cutting edge technology, the care has been exceptional and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I am receiving extensive dental treatment and have had frank, honest discussions with my dentist, who at times invited the expertise of the other practicing dentists, in planning a path forward for my care. (while in my presence, in the treatment chair). I have felt genuinely cared for both as a patient and an individual. I highly recommend this practice!

There is not enough good I can say about these caring and competent people. They have given my husband and I exceptional care without the shame, fear, pain or discomfort so often associated with dental procedures. They are patient, accommodating and highly proficient in the latest cutting edge dental technologies and equipment. The office staff is responsive and super friendly, the entire team makes you feel like you are part of the family. We drive an hour and a half round trip because we believe so strongly in the quality of care we get from Knoxville Smiles. You couldn’t pay me to go elsewhere!

Had an amazing experience at this dentist. I had a wire pop off of my permanent retainer and they fit me in within a few hours as a new patient. I was treated with care and kindness by everyone with whom I interacted in the office as well as in a prompt manner. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning in the future!

I was so grateful to be able to be able to get a same day appointment on a Friday after calling at least 8 other dental offices. The staff were all very kind and Dr. Wolkow very kind, attentive, and provided good information/explanations and addressed issues that haven’t been acknowledged to such a degree by previous providers I have seen. I appreciate their knowledge and expertise and I would absolutely recommend them. However, I can only speak for using Delta Dental insurance here, but since this dental office is declared as out of network, Knoxville Smiles bills a lot more than Delta Dental is willing to cover. I owed $560 after insurance for a scan, one filling, and a temporary bite guard. It was worth it to me since I had no option to wait due to my plans, but please be aware going in that you may get hit with a large bill even after insurance pays their part.
