I give three stars because: 1) I was extremely disrupted by the wife of the doctor when I tried to finish the forms where my signatures needed to be there. Now I don't even know what kind of forms I was signing. I don't see this as professional behavior. Normally, the forms should be sent to me so that I have enough time to look through each page. I appreciate that they put me in within one and a half hours to have a second opinion consultation, as I was worried about the abscess on my gum a few days ago, but I don't feel safe going back again as I don't know what kind of documents I was signing. (This part alone was my worst experience ) 2) I don't feel it is alright that they just let the wife keep talking to me when I was trying to read. I was not going there to make friends or let the wife pry my privacy so that they knew how to set the price of their service. I am not interested in telling you where I am from, listening to your stories about why you have a higher service price, or hearing your own assumptions about why I have an abscess on the gum. I clean and floss my teeth three times a day, and the tooth with the crown was simply due to an accident that I had 20 years ago. I was worried about the abscess and just wanted to get a second opinion from a professional. Any topics other than that don't interest me. 3) I appreciate the consultation from the doctor within one and a half hours, and I will appreciate it even more if the attitude is more towards saving my tooth instead of encouraging me to do an $5,000 implant without proper further images other than a regular X-ray. Overall, everyone is suffering from the high cost of living, both doctors and patients. I always respect the professionals when they devote themselves into their fields. I was hoping the consultation experience would have been more friendly in a professional way. Thank you again, at the same time, I don't think this is the one for me.

Kawata Dental is definitely the place to go for all your dental needs! The staff is incredibly friendly and the office is spotless. I received a cleaning from Dr. Lani Tittle and she was great! I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment and she was very thorough.

I have been a patient with Dr. Kawata for a few years. His office is really professional and he’s always on time. He is a really easy doctor to talk to and take his time to explain things to you. I live in Long Beach and I don’t mind taking the drive all the way to Santa Monica to see him. I would recommend Dr. Kawata 100%.

Eileen my dental hygienist is amazing, she is always extremely informative, she explains what she does before doing it and I love this. I have been coming here for approximately 3 years and I would not go anywhere else. I love Dr. Jeffrey.
