Dr. Brown and her staff make visits to the Dentist something to look forward to. The office is welcoming, everyone is friendly, and the Dentist and her Assistants are knowledgeable, kind, and great at what they do. They communicate clearly and put together a plan for our particular needs. The office is clean and welcoming. Also, post-Covid we may have fallen behind on cleanings and St Matthews Dental Care did not make us feel guilty or judge us at all. We’re back on track and my child is excited about going to the Dentist!

Terrific office and staff. Very thorough with cleaning and dental check. Dentist showed pictures of problem areas and explained how to resolve them. Also printed out estimate of work that needed done. What insurance would cover and what I would pay. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Lovely place and lovely people. I was extremely nervous to get a root canal. They made me feel very comfortable and not silly for being terrified. They were super focused on my comfort the whole time and kept checking in to make sure I was okay. I’ve always been terrified of a root canal but I’m not sure where people were going but it certainly wasn’t here. I didn’t feel a thing. Dr. Bailey and I believe her assistant (I’m almost certain her name started with a J) were both excellent. 10/10 would recommend

I have been going to this dentist for about 5 years now. Prior to the office moving locations, the ladies at the front desk knew myself, and everyone else who came in the door, and were able to check us in without asking our names most of the time. I regularly saw the same dental hygienist who was familiar with my history and the plan for my dental care. Everyone was very friendly and patient. This dentist office was everything I was looking for as someone with dental anxiety. Prior to them moving to the new office, I would have easily given 5 stars. Now that they’ve moved, communication is terrible, mistakes are being made, and everything feels much more “corporate”. I’m pretty sure I’ve been asked to reschedule or move just about every visit I’ve had here since the move. At first I thought it was a scheduling flaw that they needed to work out with the new office, but it hasn’t gotten better. For my most recent appointment, they texted me a couple weeks in advance asking if I could come in at a different time. I was busy at work when the message came up, and l forgot to respond. They never communicated further on the issue, so I assumed they found someone else who was able to move their appointment, and mine was no longer a problem. The way the message was written, they were just asking if I was available at a different time, they never said my appointment was being canceled otherwise. A couple days before the appointment I get a confirmation text with the original day & time, again this confirmed my assumption that they figured it out. I showed up for the appointment, and sure enough, they didn’t have me on their books, and they were not able to fit me in. I’ve also seen different hygienists each time I go into the new office, sometimes they’ve even had different people rotate in and out for different steps of the cleaning, which feels like a great way to miss something. Earlier this year, when I was in for a regular cleaning, I was told I needed one of my fillings replaced. It hadn’t been giving me any issues, but I figured might as well replace it before it does I guess. After they replaced it, my tooth wouldn’t stop hurting. I couldn’t chew on it, it was sensitive to cold, and the pain was keeping me up at night. I went back explaining the issues, and they discovered that the filling was not fully cured, so they had to replace it again. They were very apologetic and did not make me pay any additional money, but the tooth pain was awful and could have been avoided. I also had a root canal done when I first started seeing this dentist, and about a year ago when the dentist was reviewing my x-rays, she saw there was bone loss, which she presumed was an active infection, and sent me to a specialist to have the root canal redone. The specialist was able to look at my scans and tell that the bone loss was not new, and that it was from the original infection that caused the root canal in the first place. She said we would have been able to see that if they had taken any X-rays of the root canal previously, but apparently they forgot to do so numerous times, and the X-ray I had taken a year ago was the first one of that root final since it was initially done. Not actually needing the root canal redone saved me a ton of money and anxiety, and I am super grateful that the specialist didn’t just go ahead and do it anyway, but my time and nerves over the issue could have been saved if St. Matthew’s Dental Care would have taken regular X-rays of the root canal when they did my other routine scans. I am moving, and will need to start seeing a new dentist regardless, but with the way things have been going, I honestly think I would heavily consider not returning even if I wasn’t moving. I hope things can get back to the way they used be, because I truly used to recommend this office to anyone I knew, it’s just not been the same these past few years.

I recently visited this dental clinic for an emergence for the first time, and I had a great experience. Angela and Dr. Brown were both very kind, professional, and caring throughout the visit. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommended!
