I came here as a new patient this week. Anesthesia and numbing agents don’t work on me, which always makes dentist visits pretty painful no matter where I go, but the compassion from my hygienist at Green Hills Family Dentistry helped a lot emotionally and made me feel like I was in good hands. She talked me through what the process would feel like and what she was doing, was informative about what caused the issues that were causing me pain, and made sure I knew how to prevent them from coming back. Plus my teeth look shiny and white again, so I’m pretty happy!

Family of 4 leaving after 10 years 1) Care had fallen short steadily over the years. Dental assistant is doing anesthetic injections and drilling during my last simple filling appointment two month ago. No explanation given if the dental assistant is qualified to perform dentist duties. 2) I called 3.5 months ahead to move regular cleaning apts further back 3 weeks, and was told that no appointment for the next 7 months. So if you need to reschedule, you have to wait another 5 month. Ridiculous

As someone who avoided dentists for years due to terrible experiences, this was the first time in my life that I felt genuinely cared for and at peace in the chair. They were absolute angels, so kind, gentle, and really took their time with me. There was absolutely no judgement, just helpful advice along the way, and they even set up a plan to get my smile back on track in a way that actually felt attainable (coming from someone that lives paycheck to paycheck). Trust me, I thought I was going to hate/avoid dentists my whole life until I step foot in their office. If you’re the same way, please give them a try.

Staff is nice enough thought the receptionist seemed very unorganized. I’ve never experienced the amount of X-rays this office claimed they needed in my entire 40 years going to dentists. My insurance covers a specific type of X-rays and my cleaning and bitewings are what is covered so I was very surprised when I received a bill for nearly $100. The hygienist was nice enough but pushy about this as a requirement. The lack of transparency on billing especially after submitting my insurance before the appointment and after getting to the office seems predatory-like. I’m not a fan of surprise billing as I imagine most of us aren’t. I wouldn’t recommend based this office based on this behavior.

Dr. Ledbetter and staff provide excellent, timely care. They’re also very responsive if you have an urgent issue. My family and I appreciate the kind, compassionate care we receive.
