I recently had veneers done on my two front teeth by Dr. Zhi, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. Zhi did an outstanding job—my teeth look natural and beautiful, and I feel so much more confident when I smile. The entire process was smooth and professional. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I also want to give a special thank you to the assistant manager who told me about Smart Arts of NY—I'm so glad I found this place! I truly appreciate the care and attention to detail from everyone in the office. Highly recommend Dr. Zhi and the team!

They're friendly, fast, and efficient, and they don't push unnecessary procedures like my previous dentist from another practice did. They frequently ask how I'm doing during my cleaning and ask/listen to any concerns during my visit. Reception staff have also been great, and even helped find my insurance when I didn't have my card available. Happy to recommend.

I had to find a new Dentist because of my new insurance. By recommendation I went to Smile art. The office is very nice and clean with modern technologies. Upon my arrival, I was asked to fill out the forms...which delayed a 20minute wait...wish they send the forms prior to the appointment instead of 30 minutes before the appointment as I went during my lunch break. My dentist was Dr. Zhi who was recommended. She was very nice and easy. My hygienist was Kristina. Maybe it's because I was with my prior hygienist for a very long time, but I thought Kristina was little aggressive with my teeth. She was very thorough and seemed pretty nice. But I felt the cleaning was a little too rough. My teeth feels little sensitive after the procedure....so hope it subsides in couple of days.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chen at Smile Arts for almost ten years now and even when I lived in California for a year I never missed a six month cleaning with her. Such a fantastic dentist with great bedside manner — I really look forward to my appointments. I did Invisalign with her a few years back as well and am so happy with my results — wish I had done it even earlier. The office staff and dental hygienists are super friendly and professional too. Love my dentist!!

Beware of discriminatory attitude and chaotic insurance procedures From the moment I checked in, the front-desk manager insisted my insurance had been “terminated” based solely on my SSN—claiming they’d “notified” me on a phone number I’ve never owned. Throughout the interaction she rolled her eyes, exchanged judgmental looks with colleagues, and treated me with open disdain. After I repeatedly asked if there were any other ways to verify my coverage, she finally passed my case to the insurance coordinator, who located my active policy in minutes—simply by using my ZIP code (a detail the front desk never bothered to request). Instead, I’d been told to spend half an hour on hold with my insurer myself. Once my coverage was confirmed, I was informed I could no longer be seen today. When I asked why the coordinator hadn’t been called in the first place, the manager claimed she “needed to call the police.” Minutes later she reversed course and said I could actually see the doctor—leaving me confused, frustrated, and feeling blatantly disrespected. I recorded portions of the conversation to protect myself; the hostility was that blatant. Bottom line: If you value respectful treatment, clear communication, and basic professionalism, consider choosing a different clinic.
