I first came across Open Wide Dental at Phoenix Pride last summer, I obtained a card from a very nice young woman who answered a couple questions I had. Fast forward to January 2026 I found myself in need of their services, I had a cavity that needed filling as soon as possible, I called and was able to get in rather quickly, once I arrived for my appointment the offices were nicely appointed, filled with art and music not at all clinical or cold, instantly puts you at ease when you walk in, very welcoming (“they even have massage chairs people, massage chairs!”) the staff are amazing a diverse group of men and women very professional friendly and kind, they explain everything to you they’re going to do before they do it and always with an eye toward patient comfort, in fact I was asked if I had any anxiety prior to my appointment so they are very aware of your comfortability and mindset. It’s a thoughtful, well thought out idea. Dr D. Is great, he is thorough, efficient, with a gentle touch that only comes with seasoned experience, I felt safe and cared for while I was there. As a side the music they play is good, if you’re lucky Dr D. will sing a tune or two I found it comforting while in his chair. I had a great first experience and I believe I have found my home for my dentistry needs, I highly recommend Open Wide Dental to anyone who needs a dentist..

As a new patient, going to a new office can be daunting with paperwork and waiting. The front staff was great, got checked in and going fast. Chris was great and thorough, kept me in the loop of everything he was doing and showing me, felt like we’ve known each other for years. Happy I made the switch.

I picked up a business card for Open Wide Dental a few years ago at the Rainbow Festival. I have had some terrible experiences with my prior dentists and once again had to find a new dentist when my husband passed away after having dental surgery. I am so happy to have discovered this Dental practice. These folks make you feel welcome and comfortable. They have great music and are funny and they really care about you. I have had the best cleanings; fast, painless and thorough. They tell you what they are going to do, tell you what they find and give you recommendations for care and offer affordable insurance that helps you with your needed care. I would recommend Open Wide Dental to everyone!

The staff is absolutely amazing and easy to work with. I have never had a bad experience over the years. The staff is very informative and knowledgeable about all things dentistry. If you like good service and being treated very well this is definitely the place to go!

First time visiting Open Wide Dental. Everyone was very friendly and encouraging. I was impressed that patients could be service upstairs as well as downstairs. If you’re looking to relax and calm yourself before you get into the chair Open Wide has an answer for that🙂. They have two very nice massage chairs along with some goodies that will help ease your mind. I like that fact they make sure you understand your treatment and the best plan for moving forward. It’s a little bit of a drive for me but I feel every mile will be worth it. It’s difficult to find people who see you and your health not a dollar sign.
