I was a regular patient at Laurelwood Dental for about 7 years, seen by Dr. Edwards and Dr. Hall for various periods. I came in rough shape, having an infected root canal and crown that they attended and put me in good hands to resolve. After my implant via their referrals 5 years ago, my dental health has been pristine. Thanks to my hygienist, Stephanie, who is so kind, fun and thorough. I’m going to miss her now that I’ve moved. She’s very positive and an amazing person. You do pay out of pocket as they’re not in any network, but I never regretted the extra dental insurance cost through my employer. If you’re new to the area or looking for a dentist with a good vibe that prioritizes your dental health, this is the spot.

I've been going to Laurelwood Dental for years and have always been very happy with the work of the dentists and hygienists. Prior to finding Laurelwood dental I'd had multiple bad dentist experiences. After complaining to a friend about a one particular bad crown by a dentist in downtown Portland my friend referred me to her dentist at Laurelwood. Im so glad I have finally found a place where going to the dentist doesn't give my anxiety like it used to. Both my husband and I get our dental care done here and highly recommend this practice.

Excellent dentistry. Dr Hall is great. He knows when something needs immediate attention, and also when to put it on his “watch” list…allowing time to see how things look at my next visit. Getting a crown here is amazingly easy. One day-only a couple of hours-no temporary-I love it! My hygienist is thorough, kind, professional and gives me excellent feedback to help me maintain the best possible dental health. I highly recommend Dr Hall and his team.

If you’re a dental chicken like me, this place is clucking great! I’ve been going here for years and can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hall, the hygienists, and the staff. Dr. Hall is calm, professional and super communicative – he always lets you know exactly what’s going on and the state of things inside your pie hole. You can tell how much he cares about his patients and the whole team proactively works to make sure those pearly whites stay happy and healthy. I recently had a crown put on and the process could not have gone more smoothly. They have this amazing machine that mills the replacement tooth right in the office while you wait. So there’s no temporary crown and the new one fits absolutely perfectly – it feels like the stuff of science fiction. Laurelwood Dental FTW!
