I had my first appointment here today and it was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very welcoming—from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The doctor explained everything clearly, took time to answer all my questions, and never made me feel rushed, which I really appreciated. The hygienist was professional, thorough, and made the cleaning as comfortable as possible. I was also impressed by how clean the facility is and how up-to-date all the equipment is. There’s a lot of technology involved, which was a bit overwhelming at first, but when I shared that I didn’t want my photo taken for my file, they immediately respected my preference. Overall, I felt well cared for, listened to, and comfortable throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. They addressed all my concerns and gave me really good feedback back on my options and treatment plans. Also gave me a referral for something I didn’t think was a big deal but could be so overall very happy with my visit and look forward to having my dental needs met.

Schuhart Dentistry is honestly the best! Everyone there is so kind and makes you feel super comfortable the whole time. I love that it’s a husband-and-wife duo, they are both so down to earth and really take their time with you. They explain everything in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming, and they’re always running on time, which I appreciate so much. My cleaning was gentle but really thorough. I always leave feeling taken care of. Highly recommend them!

I had a very disappointing billing experience with Schuchart Dentistry. I visited in November and was charged upfront because they said they weren’t sure if my insurance would cover the visit. My insurance did cover the services (except the oral exam), and there was a contracted rate agreed upon between the office and my insurance. Despite this, the office refused to honor the contracted amount and only issued a partial refund, keeping the rest even after insurance paid them. Their reasoning was that since part of the visit wasn’t covered, they would charge the full amount instead of the contracted rate, which both I and my insurance were told is incorrect. Stephanie in billing was combative and told me she would call me back in two weeks. I had to follow up multiple times, and even after my insurance company contacted them directly and advised them they were billing incorrectly, the office still refused to issue the full refund. My insurance is now filing a formal complaint. I actually liked the dentist, which makes this even more unfortunate, but the billing practices are a major red flag. I strongly recommend that anyone who comes here closely reviews their Explanation of Benefits. There are many great dentists in this area. Choose one that bills ethically and honors their insurance contracts.

If I could give zero stars I would. Except for the care I received for my cleaning/exam that was good the ladies were amazing. Zero stars would be for the billing dept. or whoever is in charge of that. First off I scheduled my appointment because of all the great reviews. Before my appointment I was told I was out of network but all I had to pay was $225 to get seen and that my insurance would reimburse me for “that amount” I was ok with that. They also said they reviewed my benefits everything was covered! Great awesome. Fast forward to now I get a check in the mail for only $97 not a $225 check. Called my insurance they said I billed for a whole mouth xray which I can only have 1 every 5 years. Denied. So if they reviewed my benefits why didn’t they see it wouldn’t be covered. Another thing I told my insurance where was my $225 check and they said they have never heard of such thing that goes into the dentist practice pocket. So I ask the text that I have been communicating with about this and they continue to say they did everything correct on their part which I believe I was blindsided and lied to. So long story short if you’re out of network don’t go here.
