PB smile studio was extremely helpful across the board. Dr. Hernandez was very knowledgeable and attentive with my treatment, and the insurance department truly went out of their way to ensure I received the full extent of my benefits after I ran into some issues (shoutout Meghan!). Overall, a very professional and well-intentioned practice, would highly recommend their services.

I went to this office ignoring the poor reviews. Unfortunately, the reviews were accurate. The dentist told me I needed five fillings and one crown but couldn’t clearly explain why. The front desk staff asked detailed questions about my finances and pressured me to use third-party financing. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told I only had three cavities. The professionalism is poor, and the quality of care is low. Read all reviews before booking with them.

I was looking for a new dentist near by and walked in to Pacific Beach Smile Studio. I have to report back that Dr. Hernandez, Leida and the whole staff is incredibly professional, experienced and gentle (super important), and I felt like it brought my old beautiful smile back. Great work and I look forward to revisiting at my next appointment.

I have “dentist anxiety” due to bad childhood dental visits. Dr. Hernandez and his team are amazing! They were so kind and gentle and explained everything they were doing. I felt no discomfort and was kept so comfortable I almost fell asleep! And the cost was very reasonable. Dr. Hernandez truly cares about his patients.

I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in San Diego, but Dr. Hernandez is completely different. He’s honest, never pushy to do treatments, and takes the time to explain everything so you feel comfortable and informed. It feels amazing to finally have a dentist I can really trust and that’s saying a lot because I’ve never liked going to the dentist. 10/10 - Highly recommend.
