The hygienist was great. She was very thorough but it didn't hurt at all. Dr. Handleman was on time and very nice. I enjoy coming to this practice because everyone is always polite on time and extremely proficient

The front desk is very polite and helpful. The doctor was very friendly and took their time for our first appt. Such a huge difference from our former dentist!

Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and happy. Such a great dental practice from the two principals to the hygienists to all the office staff.

I was significantly overdue for a visit to the dentist and walked in to SSSD feeling a little anxious but mostly just ashamed of myself. I was immediately put at ease by all of the lovely staff. The woman at the front desk got me checked in quickly and I was brought back within a few minutes of my scheduled time. Sue, the dental assistant, was super friendly and took my x-rays efficiently. I was then seen by Dr. Handelman whose approach was a great mix of straightforward and reassuring. I was already well aware that my teeth and gums needed a lot of work but he reminded me that the only thing that mattered was that I was now taking steps to address those issues (and also that I start flossing regularly 😊). I’ve got a long path ahead of me but I’m motivated to get back on track with the support of this team. If you are in a similar boat just know it's not too late to turn things around and that you’ll receive compassionate and non-judgmental care here!

My experience at Silver Spring Smile Designs is always great. The staff is very nice and professional. I always schedule my cleanings with Sue, she's amazing! She is very gentle and always answers all of my questions and addresses any concerns I may have. Dr. Foster is wonderful, professional, gentle and very informative.
