4 months agoTwo weeks after moving to DC from Atlanta, I broke a crown. Fortunately, I was sent to U Street Family Dentistry by a friend. They got me in quickly, and my new crown is so much better than the old one. Looks like I have a new dentist!

5 months agoI've had two very positive experiences with Dr Joshi. I have a lot of anxiety when visiting the dentist, and her patience and calm manner put my mind at ease.

4 months agoIt’s been two years since my original visit, but the frustration has stayed with me long enough that I finally have to leave this review. I was a student new to the area, when I started having tooth pain and my mom randomly looked yo places and told me to come here. After getting a filling, I later discovered the dentist had sealed two of my teeth together, making it impossible to floss between them. A few days after paying $300, they suddenly claimed I owed another $300 because my insurance “didn’t cover as much as they thought.” When I called my insurance, I learned that was not true. And based on other reviews, it seems like this is a recurring issue here. Within a two months, the tooth they worked on BROKE off, which led to needing a root canal, and I’ve continued to have pain and problems ever since — all stemming from this one terrible visit. Years of great dental health were completely derailed by one incompetent appointment. I wish I had done my own research instead of going with the random place my mom picked. If you’re reading this, please be careful — buyer beware.

5 months agoI made an appt over a month ago for 10/10 @10a. They said they accepted and took all my ins info. I experienced tooth pain a week ago and called to see if i could be seen and could not . I confirmed the 10/10 appt . Okay. On 10/09 i got text asking for my email so i can pre register. Tried to do that but i couldnt complete. YOUR OFFICE texted my uhc medical number to ask if correct. I confirmed. Heard NOTHING else until i entered your office at 09:20am this morning and my phone rang to inform me i was not in the network. I honestly cannot understand why this could not have been addressed MUCH SOONER than this. Make this make sense
