I love everything about my experiences at U Street Family Denistry. Dr. Yetunde Patrick is exceptional. She is highly knowledgeable and mentally prepares you by explaining what to expect when providing treatment. She expertly administers dental services and uses the latest technology and best materials to produce amazing results. When most dental offices were closed during the pandemic in 2020-2022, Dr. Patrick and her team worked faithfully to provide this Washington, DC area community with life sustaining dental care. I had an extremely painful, throbbing decaying wisdom tooth that I noticed was negatively affecting my blood pressure. Dr. Patrick provided timely treatment during the pandemic and the pain was gone. Three years later, Dr. Patrick and her outstanding, professional team -Jackie, Dolce, Tiffany, Rachel, Sheila, and Dr. Nisha Joshi are still committed to providing exceptional dental care services. Jackie, Dolce, and Sheila thoughtfully provided a cost estimate per request so I could successfully plan visits within budget. They are so kind and make you feel welcomed. Tiffany was very attentive and expertly matched the color of my replacement tooth. Rachel did a fantastic dental cleaning and offered at-home-care recommendations to properly treat teeth between visits. Dr. Joshi is also knowledgeable and offered wonderful bedside manner. I cannot say enough about this highly skilled, personable team at this convenient and aesthetically pleasing but small DC office location.

I relocated and needed a new dentist. I am a terrible patient so put off going for a few years. I was anxious but made myself go to the appointment. The team including Dr. Tiara Felder was wonderful, caring, passionate and nonjudgmental. I had an amazing experience and have already booked my next appointment!

Very pleasant dental experience, and keep in mind, this is the dentist we're talking about. All the staff were super friendly from the people working reception, to the doctors themselves. They explained exactly what they were doing to me and why. I had a conversation with the doctor afterwards regarding next steps so I fully understood what to expect, and again super friendly. Putting aside the exceptional customer service. I could hear music playing as they worked on my teeth. You'd think the experience of having someone poke around in your mouth would be bothersome, a bit painful, and overall not fun. Now I'm not gonna say none of that happened, but how could you possibly be bothered, or even feel that much pain when Lauryn Hill is playing in their speakers overhead?? You just can't. I left the room still singing in my head. In addition, they have plants all around the waiting area and in the room I was seated in. Almost didn't want to write a review to keep this place from getting too many visits so I never have trouble going. I know they'd probably love to get more customers though, so if you're reading this I'd highly recommend.

They told me I had 7 cavities and it would be almost $900 to fill all of them. Went back home to my dentist in Michigan and showed him the U Street X-rays and dental plan they gave me, he told me he didn’t agree with 6 of them and barely agreed with 1 but would drill if I wanted. I’ve heard of cavity money grab dentists before but this is the first time I experienced it first hand.

Sheila, Tiffany and Dr. Felder were all great. They listen, are friendly and gentle. I’ve been coming here for years and am so glad to have a reliable dentist so close by!
