Rai Vaugh Rai Vaugh Rai Vaugh was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! She has been the BEST hygienist I have had all my years of going to the dentist. The facility is so beautiful & clean. R went above and beyond for me. Gave me suggestions on what oral care is best for my teeth and what I have going on at the time. She was fast, but very thorough and I felt NO PAIN at all the entire cleaning. Dr. Eric was great as well as the rest of the staff!

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Ortega Dental. I called the day before my scheduled appointment to notify the office that I needed to cancel; however, the office was closed during their stated regular “business” hours, leaving me with no option to speak with anyone sooner. Despite giving notice as early as I reasonably could, the office later confirmed that I called at 3:53 PM the day before, while my appointment was scheduled for 2:40 PM the following day only a few hours beyond the 24-hour window. Even with this advance notice and the circumstances, I was still informed that I would be charged a $50 schedule change fee. I also spoke directly with the manager Cindy, who stated that I could have left a voicemail, despite the fact that I was attempting to communicate my situation in real time. I explained that I was canceling for medical reasons, as I had just received eight abdominal steroid injections and was concerned about potential complications with dental treatment and/or X-rays. Given that context, I expected at least some understanding or empathyespecially after sharing a prior poor experience at another local dental office. Unfortunately, none was shown. What was most disappointing is that it felt as though the focus was placed entirely on collecting a $50 fee, rather than valuing a potential long-term patient relationship. Policies matter, but so does compassion, flexibility, and patient care particularly when someone communicates in advance and has legitimate medical concerns. This experience left me feeling unsupported and devalued as a customer. As a result, my family and I will not be returning.

Pedro is the best Dental Hygienist I’ve ever been to. We started working on my teeth 6 months ago and I had some problem areas. After two appointments with him my mouth is perfect and clean!!!! I would recommend him to any one of my friends or family. Keep working hard and creating beautiful smiles Pedro!!! Much thanks and appreciation from me to you!!!

Pedro is wonderful. He was so thorough and gentle. He explained everything he was doing and he even explained things about my mouth that no one has ever explained to me before. I grind my teeth and didn’t realize all the consequences of that. I highly recommend Pedro. He is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. My appointment was made easy with a friendly and clearly competent person caring for me.
