I first came across Open Wide Dental at Phoenix Pride last summer, I obtained a card from a very nice young woman who answered a couple questions I had. Fast forward to January 2026 I found myself in need of their services, I had a cavity that needed filling as soon as possible, I called and was able to get in rather quickly, once I arrived for my appointment the offices were nicely appointed, filled with art and music not at all clinical or cold, instantly puts you at ease when you walk in, very welcoming (“they even have massage chairs people, massage chairs!”) the staff are amazing a diverse group of men and women very professional friendly and kind, they explain everything to you they’re going to do before they do it and always with an eye toward patient comfort, in fact I was asked if I had any anxiety prior to my appointment so they are very aware of your comfortability and mindset. It’s a thoughtful, well thought out idea. Dr D. Is great, he is thorough, efficient, with a gentle touch that only comes with seasoned experience, I felt safe and cared for while I was there. As a side the music they play is good, if you’re lucky Dr D. will sing a tune or two I found it comforting while in his chair. I had a great first experience and I believe I have found my home for my dentistry needs, I highly recommend Open Wide Dental to anyone who needs a dentist..

Jason is amazing. Highly recommend him! My teeth are super sensitive and he goes all out for me so I don’t feel discomfort. My anxiety is less thanks to him and now I love going to the dentist. Protect Jason at all cost

I picked up a business card for Open Wide Dental a few years ago at the Rainbow Festival. I have had some terrible experiences with my prior dentists and once again had to find a new dentist when my husband passed away after having dental surgery. I am so happy to have discovered this Dental practice. These folks make you feel welcome and comfortable. They have great music and are funny and they really care about you. I have had the best cleanings; fast, painless and thorough. They tell you what they are going to do, tell you what they find and give you recommendations for care and offer affordable insurance that helps you with your needed care. I would recommend Open Wide Dental to everyone!

Been coming here for over 20 years, and have always had an amazing experience. They’ve performed my quarterly cleanings and a full set of crowns after a bad accident many years ago. they’ve always been the best dental office and I can’t speak highly enough.

I work next door at an Oral Surgery Office and we share a lot of patients that seem to ALWAYS be so happy with Open Wide Dental! Of course I had to check it out myself being so close. Honestly, coming from someone who has worked in the Dental Field for what feels like EONS - don't sleep on this office. They are SUPER thorough, everything is clean, inviting and my hygiene visit with Chris was not only great, but also hysterical. Feels like going and visiting your friends rather than being daunted by visiting the dentist. Denise & Dr. Durisek - you ROCK. Your staff is amazing and can't wait to see you for my fillings. LOL.
